RISEN Film Review – Dim The Lights Podcast Ep.2
This week the team got together to share our thoughts on Risen. This was a highly anticipated film for us considering the lack of quality Biblical films. We've had flops like Noah and Exodus: Gods And Kings. We were really praying this film would break the recent Hollywood drought.

As a cinema-loving Christian, I am always encouraged by filmmakers who choose to tell a Christ-related story. It is one of those touchy subjects that typically doesn't get a lot of buzz.
Unbroken Review
Overall, I believe Jolie’s respect for the story was clearly evident in this well-intentioned film and it made for an assured viewing experience. Unbroken had all the elements of a great epic: incredible story, great actors, beautiful score, melancholic landscapes...but it still fell short and left much more to be desired.
