Jack Reacher: Never Go Back
Release Date: October 21, 2016
Jack Reacher is back! He’s at it again uncovering more government conspiracies, or conspiracies in general. This film sees Jack Reacher work with SHIELD Agent Maria Hill Major Susan Turner. Major Turner gets arrested for an espionage charge and it’s up to Reacher to find out what’s going on. Believing she was set up, he breaks her out of jail. When he talks with Turner she informs him that her men got shot on an op they were running for her. From there on, Reacher and Turner are enveloped in discovering a bigger government conspiracy, and it’s up to both of them to right whatever wrong has been done. As the trailer says so far, Jack Reacher is not the law, so bad guys should start running, because there’s no such thing as hiding behind the law in Reacher’s book. This looks to be an action staple for the month of October.

Inferno
Release Date: October 28, 2016
From director Ron Howard comes the next film adaptation of another Dan Brown (The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons) novel. Robert Langdon, the famous symbologist, returns to solve another global mystery at hand, this time revolving around the painting of Dante’s Inferno. Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, and with the help of Dr. Sienna Brooks, he hopes to recover lost memories that will help stop this global conspiracy he’s been roped into. His lost memories are the key to figuring out where inferno is, a virus created to destroy half the world’s population, so overpopulation doesn’t cause extinction. The clues are in a version of the painting of Dante’s Inferno that Langdon and Brooks found, and they must work against time before the group behind using inferno accomplishes their mission of bloodshed. This film follows up the film adaptations of The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons.
