Triple 9 Trailer

Last updated on March 17th, 2017 at 05:47 pm

Playing Cops & Robbers

You are probably wondering what on earth is a “Triple 9″…well, it is actually police code used to quickly inform people of a police officer’s death. A dead cop is kind of a big deal and so, in theory, anyone who is anyone will be racing toward the crime scene. That is where our main characters come in. They are using this incident as a distraction in order to pull the greatest heist ever.

The crimes seem to involve four men, played by  Chiwetel Ejiofor,  Norman Reedus,  Clifton Collins Jr. and Aaron Paul. Chiwetel’s character leads the squad into an opening heist; the trailer highlights a bank robbery where the men look like they belong to Deadpool Corps. He answers to a powerful and dangerous woman played by  Kate Winslet . This woman forces Chiwetel Ejiofor’s character to perform one last heist, the one involving an officer’s death. After the opening heist, it looks like the crew is being tailed closely by a few cops from Major Crimes played by actors Anthony Mackie,  Casey Affleck,  Woody Harrelson.

Triple 9 looks to be an epic cops & robbers story. The cast is superb, containing a number of notable television stars as well as some veteran actors. The action looks intense, and the tone very dark. Triple 9 can potentially be an entertaining film, especially in the quiet month of February.
